Background

Howard Reynolds has been in the field of human care service and metaphysical studies for the past twenty-seven years. His four Masters' Degrees are in Physical Education, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, and Acupuncture.

He began as a Physical Education Instructor and High School Basketball/Baseball Coach. After eight years in the field of public education he turned to providing psychological services to groups, families, and individuals. Wanting a more comprehensive system to assist clients he obtained a Masters of Acupuncture at the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in 1990. Since then he has maintained a private practice of incorporating acupuncture, bodywork, and meditation. This combination of body, mind, and spirit training has allowed Howard to work with a wide range of individuals. His primary focus is to empower and inspire clients in a creative vision that promotes a lifestyle of optimal health and well-being. In 1998, Howard co-founded Joyous Heart Lightwork, to provide a systematic training program in meditation and the healing arts.

Two major events have deeply shaped Howard's current focus of planetary service. In 1977 he began meditation training in the School of Actualism in LaJolla, CA. The inner focus of this training being to experience the Light of our Higher Self and to bring it into creative expression through meditation practice. The other major event was an introduction to the Mayan Culture in 1991 in Yucatan, Mexico. This initiatory event led to training with Hunbatz Men, a shaman and daykeeper of the sacred Mayan teachings. Howard has combined his meditation and shamanistic experiences to facilitate spiritual journeys with Hunbatz Men to the sacred land of the Mayas. These mystical tours promotes a greater understanding of our place as planetary lightworkers as well as our galactic citizenship.

"...the Eagle's vision and dream.
Gather about me, winged ones, to take your place
upon the currents of our divine purpose.
Soar with the flow of consciousness
in my massive wings.
Let us glide in the graceful expansiveness
of planetary mind,
carving out the pathways of timeless beauty
for all to follow. ..."

"Hear my impassioned call,
O radiant children of the Sun!
Lift with me the collective mind,
for we are the awakeners, the transformers!
Let the flowing beauty and power of my wings
inspire you to ascend to our committed purpose!"
